Zoe Ann Leader (July 1, 1949 – March 3, 2015) was a marketing communications director and voice actor best known for voicing Sarafina in The Lion King.
Biography[]
Zoe Leader was born and raised in Hollywood, California until her family moved to London in the 1960s. After graduating from San Francisco State University,[1] she served as a producer for the marketing communications companies Ogilvy & Mather and Young & Rubicam, and was appointed to serve as the Director of Communications for the Feature Animation division for the Walt Disney Company.[2] Meanwhile, she was married to Steve Leader, and lived in Los Angeles, California.[3] On March 3, 2015, Leader passed away after suffering from cancer.[2] She was survived by her husband, daughter, mother, brother, and extended family.
