―Wali mocks Kopa[src]

Wali is a male vulture. He is a member of Chewa's flock.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Wali lived in the desert. He was a member of Chewa's flock.[1]

Kidnapping Kopa[]

Yeah! This here is one royal feast!
―Wali on Kopa[src]

One day, Chewa's flock found Kopa passed out in the desert. A hungry Wali called Kopa a "royal feast," which made Chewa realize that the cub was Simba's son. Subsequently, Chewa imprisoned Kopa in a nest and used him as ransom against Simba. While Kopa was imprisoned, Wali mocked him. Later, the Pride Landers confronted Chewa's flock and rescued Kopa from their clutches.[1]

Personality and traits[]

What do you say, Chewa? Do we eat him alone or on a bed of wild mice?
―Wali on Kopa[src]

Like the rest of his flock, Wali is glutinous and selfish. He is also rather cruel, as he mocked Kopa when the cub got imprisoned in a nest.[1]

Appearances[]
