Vargus Mason is an actor who voices Cheezi from The Lion Guard.
Biography[]
Mason performed for the first time at the age of 15, becoming the Rocky Mountain Regional Champion.[1] At the 2002 San Fransisco Comedy Competition, Mason was dubbed "The Human Cartoon" and took second place, defeating 340 competitors worldwide. He also earned the title of semifinalist at the 2006 Boston International Comedy Festival and HBO's Young Young Comedian Spotlight.[1]
Mason has performed for television and video games, perhaps most notably for Sofia the First. He also voices Cheezi, an antagonistic hyena, in Disney's The Lion Guard.[2]
