Uru is an adult lioness. She is the mate of Ahadi, with whom she has two sons, Mufasa and Taka.
When a drought devastates the Pride Lands, Uru leaves to search for a new source of food and water. She finds a lake on the western edge of the kingdom, and many Pride Landers are saved from thirst.
Biography
Backstory
As an adult, Uru rules the Pride Lands alongside her mate, Ahadi. Together, the couple has two sons, Mufasa and Taka.
When a drought devastates the Pride Lands, Uru leaves her family to search for a new source of food and water. Meanwhile, Ahadi stays behind to tend to their subjects and care for their sons.

Uru is first mentioned by Ahadi when he tells Rafiki that she is searching for a new source of food and water for the Pride Lands. She is later mentioned by Rafiki himself as he relates the story to Kopa, explaining that Uru found a lake at the western edge of the Pride Lands that saved many animals from thirst.

Uru is dauntless and dutiful, as she is willing to separate from her family in order to save her subjects.
