"Truth Be Told" is an episode from The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa.
Synopsis
Timon and Pumbaa are going to tell everyone the secret of their long and everlasting friendship, but then Rafiki sends out a Bee to stick them, which makes them unable to lie. Then the truth will be told.
Plot
"Truth Be Told" begins by introducing Timon, a meerkat, Pumbaa, a warthog, Rafiki, a mandrill, and Zazu, a hornbill. At the start of the episode, Timon and Pumbaa are getting ready for the Friendship of the Year Awards. Meanwhile, Rafiki uses his stick to make butterflies fly around him to put a suit on him because he's going to be the host of the ceremony.
Zazu shows up and tells Rafiki that the Friendship of the Year Awards is boring because every year, all the friends talk about is their friendships. Rafiki tries to come up with an idea to make the ceremony interesting this year.
Timon and Pumbaa are now at the Friendship of the Year Awards with Rafiki being the host. Timon and Pumbaa give a speech about their friendship, which bores the jungle's animals. Rafiki gets an idea to make the ceremony more interesting. He makes a bee appear so it can stick Timon and Pumbaa. Rafiki's idea is the Truth Spell and when the bee sticks Timon and Pumbaa, the two become honest with each other and they are negative.
