Tracy Nicole Chapman is a stage actor, probably best known for originating the role of Shenzi in the Broadway production of The Lion King.[1]
Biography[]
Earlier, Chapman performed ensemble roles in the 1993 Broadway production, The Who's Tommy, and the same year when The Lion King premiered on stage, she performed in the Broadway production, The Life.[2] After performing as Shenzi from 1997 to 2000, Chapman also appeared in Caroline, or Change.[3] Other theatre credits include the Broadway revivals of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Music Man, and Into the Woods.
