―Toucan Dan[src]

Toucan Dan is a male toucan.

Toucan Dan got imprisoned in a cage due to his habit of manipulating others with lies. One day, Timon inadvertently set him free, and so the Vulture Police forced Timon to help them recapture him. However, Toucan Dan disguised himself as Timon and made Pumbaa doubt who the real Timon was. Eventually, the Vulture Police put both Toucan Dan and Timon in stockades and forced Toucan Dan to break a snail's shell with his beak to prove his identity.

Later, Toucan Dan framed Timon and Pumbaa for a crime, only for the two to prove their innocence and get him arrested.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Toucan Dan earned a bad reputation for manipulating others with lies. As a result, he got tied up and left in a cage.[1]

When Timon struggled to get a snail out of its shell, Pumbaa suggested that he use Toucan Dan, who was in a cage with a rope tied around his beak so he could not speak. Timon approached the toucan, and Pumbaa informed him that, according to the signs, Toucan Dan was a liar who made everyone believe anything he said.

Timon removed the rope from Toucan Dan's beak, and the toucan tricked him into freeing him from the cage. No sooner had Timon done this when the Vulture Police showed up and forced him to help them recapture Toucan Dan. Together, Timon and Pumbaa caught Toucan Dan, but the toucan repeatedly tricked Timon into freeing him from his cage.

Eventually, Pumbaa got fed up with Toucan Dan repeatedly escaping, so Timon suggested that he impersonate Toucan Dan. The Vulture Police showed up and saw Timon disguised as Toucan Dan. The vultures released "Toucan Dan" and told him that they were going to feed him to lions. Horrified, Timon admitted that he was not really Toucan Dan, but the police did not believe him.

Just then, Toucan Dan showed up, disguised as Timon, and Pumbaa had to determine whether he was the real Timon or not. When the warthog was unable to tell who was who, the Vulture Police put Timon and Toucan Dan in stockades and forced Toucan Dan to break a snail's shell with his beak to prove his identity.[1]

Framing Timon and Pumbaa[]

Toucan Dan taunts Timon and Pumbaa for being stuck in jail.

Toucan Dan framed Timon and Pumbaa for stealing a train car full of beak polish, so the Vulture Police threw them in jail in his stead. Furious at Toucan Dan for the injustice, Timon and Pumbaa resolved to escape prison so they could catch him and force him to admit his crimes.

After many attempts to break out of jail, Timon and Pumbaa arrived at Toucan Dan's hideout. Before long, the Vulture Police showed up and found out the truth. They proceeded to arrest Toucan Dan, then threw Timon and Pumbaa into prison as well since they had escaped when they had been told not to.[2]
