"Tickbirds and Rhinos" is a song composed by Beau Black for The Lion Guard. It premiered on April 21, 2017, in the episode "Ono the Tickbird".
Use[]
"Tickbirds and Rhinos" is split into three parts. The first part is sung by Kifaru when he explains to the Lion Guard why rhinoceroses and tickbirds make such good pairs. The song is reprised by Mwenzi, who sings to Ono about the species' relationship, and reprised again by both Kifaru and Mwenzi after they reunite and make up their differences.
Lyrics[]
Part 1[]
Kifaru:
Tickbirds and rhi-i-i-inos
We're always a pair
Together, we go-o-o-o
Everywhere
He's always guiding me along
Cleaning all the pesky bugs right off of my back
Tickbirds and rhi-i-i-inos
We're always a pair
Part 2[]
Mwenzi:
Tickbirds and rhi-i-i-inos
We're always a pair
Together, we go-o-o-o
Everywhere
Takin' me for a ride while I eat all those bugs right off his back
Tickbirds and rhi-i-i-inos
We're always a pair
Part 3[]
Mwenzi:
Tickbirds
Kifaru:
And rhi-i-i-inos
Kifaru and Mwenzi:
We're always a pair
