The three natives are a trio of male humans.
When Timon and Pumbaa visited Bora Bora, the three natives mistook Pumbaa for their god-king. For a time, they treated Pumbaa like royalty and made Timon be his servant. However, when Pumbaa used his mind to make it rain, they realized that he was not whom they had believed he was, and so they attempted to capture both him and Timon. When they failed to do so, they returned to their university.
Later, the three natives attempted to steal Pumbaa's tusks, only to get bested by him and Timon once more. The three natives succeeded at stealing a beast's gold tooth, but Timon and Pumbaa confiscated the tooth from them and returned it to the beast, who attacked them in retribution.
Biography[]
Early life[]
The three natives attended a college, where they were offered jobs as natives. They performed their native job primarily in Bora Bora, but they once did it in New Guinea. While in Bora Bora, the three natives had a leader who was also a university student. At one point, the three natives served a warthog king.[1]
Pumbaa's temporary kingship[]
The three natives hail Pumbaa as their king.
Timon and Pumbaa arrived at Bora Bora for a vacation, only for the three natives to show up and capture Pumbaa. Right before the three natives could eat him, their leader showed up, smacked them with his staff, and showed them a statue of a warthog who looked just like Pumbaa. Consequently, the three natives mistook Pumbaa for their god-king.
Timon was about to rescue Pumbaa when he saw his friend being treated like a king. Indignant, he made Pumbaa abandon his throne and return to the beach with him. However, the three natives caught Timon and tried to throw him in a volcano. However, right before they could toss him in, Timon proclaimed that he would do anything they wished, and so the natives made him be Pumbaa's servant.
The three natives are distracted by a game of "samba."
Later that day, Pumbaa had to restore a fire. The warthog used his mind to make fire, but he also caused it to rain. This made the natives realize that he was not their true god-king, so they tried to capture both him and Timon. In order to escape, the duo distracted the three natives with a game of "samba."
The native chief got mad at the three natives for their failure to catch Timon and Pumbaa. The three natives then took off their costumes and returned to college.[1]
Encounter with Timon and Pumbaa[]
Timon and Pumbaa passed the three natives when they took a taxi to Bora Bora to throw a woodpecker into a volcano.[2]
Hunt for Pumbaa's tusks[]
When Pumbaa got tired of his tusks, he and Timon opened a shop called "Tusks 4 Less" so they could sell them to the three natives. The natives showed Timon a golden statue of himself, and Timon asked the three to label it "Timon Berkowitz: Brains of the Outfit." Then he and Pumbaa returned home.

The next day, Timon had his statue labeled, then made Pumbaa take off his tusks. However, Pumbaa was unable to do so, as his tusk bones were permanently attached to his head bones. Incited, the three natives took out their weapons and attempted to cut off Pumbaa's tusks themselves. Terrified, Timon and Pumbaa fled, with the three natives in hot pursuit.
While running, Timon and Pumbaa found a restaurant that had a sign that read that tusks were required, except for meerkats. The duo entered the restaurant, and the three natives followed them inside, only to get kicked out for not having tusks. In the face of their failure, the three took off their costumes and returned to their university.[3]
Theft of the beast's gold tooth[]
The natives stole a beast's magic gold tooth. They also captured Timon and Pumbaa, and threw them down a bottomless pit, which they fell into for weeks. When the duo finally landed at the bottom, they ran into the beast, who started crying over his missing gold tooth.
The three natives attempt to take the beast's gold tooth from Timon and Pumbaa.
When the beast took Timon and Pumbaa back outside, the two agreed to retrieve his tooth from the natives. They tried several ways to get the tooth from the native chief, but each attempt ended in failure. Finally, Timon and Pumbaa used a marching band to distract the natives and steal the gold tooth. The plan worked, but the natives soon realized that they had been tricked and so began to chase Timon and Pumbaa.
Eventually, the natives chased the duo to the bottomless pit, where the tooth fell in. Shortly afterward, the beast emerged with his gold tooth in place and began to chase the natives. Meanwhile, Pumbaa showed Timon that he had nabbed one of the native chief's teeth.[4]
Physical appearances[]
The three natives are tall and skinny humans with dark skin, black hair, and black eyes. They wear short-sleeved shirts, shorts, and scarves. As natives, they don colorful masks and leaf skirts.[1]
Personalities and traits[]
The three natives often get chastised by their leader for making dumb mistakes.
The three natives are aggressive, hostile, and fiercely protective of their tribe. If their king is not respected, they will throw the perpetrator into a volcano.[1] They can be quite ruthless, as seen when they attempted to cut off Pumbaa's tusks against his will. They are greedy and have no problem stealing from others, especially when the item is valuable, like Pumbaa's tusks or the beast's gold tooth.[3][4] At times, the three natives can be dense and easily fooled, as seen when they danced to Timon's samba music instead of killing him and Pumbaa. This often causes the native chief to whack them with his staff so as to remind them of their mission.[1]
