I’m pretty sure I first saw it when I was around 7 years old, but I already knew the story back and forth just from reading it in those gigantic Disney Story Collection books. XD And I saw the sequels shortly after. I’m not sure when it became my favorite franchise, though. I think I’ve just always liked lions, TLK or not. ;D
I don't remember when I first saw The Lion King. My parents were strange and mostly bought us crappy Disney sequels, so I saw Simba's Pride from a very young age. I don't think I actually saw the first one until a few years later.
The weird thing is because I was only 3, when Mufasa died, I asked "Mama is he diead?" and she said yes. And I was just like "Oh." At that young age I did know what dying meant, but I was too young to understand that it's supposed to be a sad thing. So I never cried like most people do when watching it.
