Cut to Bunga holding Hamu by the shoulder.
Bunga | That was really cool but a little loud. [Bunga pats Hamu reassuringly.] Not your fault. You weren't born yet when Kion told us to be quiet, but... |
Janja | [from offscren] Okay, zebras! [Cut to Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu standing atop the ridge.] Better run! [Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu slide down the ridge.] 'Cause here we come! |
Swala and zebras | Hyenas! [Swala and the zebras begin to run around in panic.] *screams* |
Two zebras rear onto their hind legs.
Zebras | Panic and run! Panic and run! *bray* |
Kion | No! That's just what they want! We have to stick together! Circle around Muhimu and the baby! Now! |
Muhimu | Everyone! Stop running and listen to Kion! |
The zebras pull to a halt.
Zebras | *nicker* |
Kion | [to Muhimu] Thanks. [Cut to Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu charging toward the zebras.] Now, circle up! |
Bunga, Kion, Swala, and the zebras assume defensive positions around Muhimu and Hamu. Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu halt before the group.
Janja | What's the matter, zebras? Not gonna run? Don't we scare you? |
Cheezi | [tauntingly] Whoo! *chuckles* |
Chungu | *chuckles* [tauntingly] Oogie boogie boogie! *cackles* |
Kion | Forget it, Janja. We're not making it easy for you. You'll have to deal with all of us. |
Janja | Our pleasure. [Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu lunge at the zebras.] *growls* |
Kion intercepts Janja's attack, while Bunga intercepts Cheezi's.
Cheezi | *grunts* |
Bunga | Zuka zama! |
Chungu charges alone at the zebras.
Chungu | *barks* |
A zebra kicks Chungu away.
Zebra | *brays* |
Cut to Kion pinning Janja.
Kion | Janja, it's time for you to... [Chungu crashes into Kion, knocking him off Janja.] *grunts* |
Janja stands. | |
Janja | *growls* |
Cut to Bunga on Cheezi's back, holding the hyena's tail, while Cheezi spins in a circle.
Cheezi | *whimpers* |
Bunga | *grunts* |
Janja narrows his eyes at the zebras.
Janja | *growls* |
Janja stalks toward the zebras, who flinch away from him. They part, and Janja walks through them.
Hamu | [from offscreen] *neighs* |
Janja | Hmm? [Hamu kicks Janja in the face. Janja flies backward.] *grunts* *yells* |
Cut to Kion spinning Chungu, while Bunga spins Cheezi.
Chungu | *screams* |
Bunga and Kion toss Cheezi and Chungu at each other. They collide with each other and Janja, then fall to the ground in a heap.
Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu | *grunt* *whimper* |
Kion approaches the hyenas.
Kion | *growls* Beat it, Janja! |
Janja | Yeah, yeah. [Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu run off.] I don't even like zebra anyway! |
Chungu | Yeah, it's too chewey! |
Cheezi | Yeah, and too...stripey! |
Zebra | Hey! |
Muhimu | Bunga, did you see him? He kicked that hyena! [Muhimu nuzzles Hamu.] He saved my life! |
Bunga | I don't know much about babies, but that's a pretty cool kid you've got there. |
Bunga crosses his arms.
Hamu | *neighs* *nickers* |
Cut to the gazelles and the zebras at Mbali Fields. Ono spectates them from the air.
Zebra | *brays* |
Ono reconvenes with the Lion Guard, landing on Beshte's back.
Ono | All present and accounted for! The Mbali Fields migration is officially over! |
Kion | Nothing went the way we thought it would, but we still got everyone here safe. |
Fuli sidles up next to Kion.
Fuli | And that's what counts. |
Beshte | We even added one. |
Cut to Hamu. | |
Hamu | *neighs* |
Beshte | Welcome to the Circle of Life. |
Hamu | *neighs* [Hamu runs happily in a circle. Bunga sidles up next to Hamu.] *nickers* |
Bunga | You said it, baby! |
Beshte, Fuli, Kion, and Ono | *laugh* |
Bunga | Zuka zama! |
Bunga runs off with Hamu. Cut to the Lion Guard, with the gazelles and zebras grazing and resting around them. The camera slowly pans out.
