When Yuki's troop moved into a hot spring, the nearby flying squirrels glided by to introduce themselves, Tafu among them. The snow monkeys mistook the flying squirrels for birds of prey and panicked. Bunga caught Tafu, and Ono identified him as a flying squirrel. Kion demanded to know why the flying squirrels were trying to scare the snow monkeys, but Tafu explained that they had merely wanted to welcome the troop to the neighborhood. He then called off the other flying squirrels, and Bunga let him go.[1]
