Tables Turned is a story from the Rafiki Remembers magazine collection. It was published in the 1990s as part of The Lion King: A Nature Fun and Learn Series.
Synopsis[]
Goat is angry at his off-and-on friend, Fox, and vows to get him into deep trouble, which prompts Fox to make the same promise. Not long after this, Goat runs into Leopard, who is worrying over her sick cub. When she asks where she can find medicine for her son, Goat suggests that she ask Fox, knowing full well that Fox is frightened of Leopard. Seeing wisdom in Goat's suggestion, Leopard asks him to fetch Fox for her, and he directs his friend down the path to where Leopard is waiting.
Once there, Fox politely asks what Leopard needs, and she explains her son's condition to the fox. Thinking quickly, Fox proclaims that he needs a goat's horn in order to heal the sick cub, and Leopard immediately races off to find Goat. She soon returns with a dead Goat's horn in her teeth, and Fox crafts the medicine to heal her son.
