―Sukari, after Simba saves her and her son[src]

Sukari is a female giraffe.

When a flash flood hit, Sukari got trapped on an island amidst the raging floodwaters. Together, Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, and Bahati built a raft and helped Sukari cross the flood to safety. Afterward, Sukari gave birth to a son and thanked Simba for his rescue of her and her baby.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Sukari lived in the jungle. She had a daughter named Bahati.[1]

Flash flood[]

During a flash flood, Sukari went missing. Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, and Bahati went looking for her and were soon approached by a hippopotamus, who told Bahati that her mother was on an island in the middle of a river. Eventually, the four found Sukari, who was indeed trapped on an island amidst raging floodwaters. Timon, Pumbaa, and Bahati panicked, but Simba got an idea and suggested that they build a raft. The friends agreed to the plan and quickly got to work. While Bahati located some vines, Timon and Pumbaa gathered tree trunks. Meanwhile, Simba kept an eye on the steadily rising river.

Working together, the four friends managed to tie the raft together and push it into the water. Bahati and Simba climbed on, and the raft bounced, slowly but surely, toward the disappearing island. Once they were close, Simba grabbed the end of a vine that was attached to the raft with his teeth and jumped onto the island. He and Sukari pulled the raft closer to the edge of the island, and Sukari hopped aboard. The raft then drifted safely to the opposite shore.

Upon reaching dry land, Sukari went into labor. Timon suggested that she have her baby in a nearby cave, and Sukari accepted and entered the cave. Time passed, during which the rains slowed and other animals joined Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, and Bahati in waiting for the birth of Sukari's baby. After a while, the animals around the cave cheered with joy, and Bahati and her friends rushed inside. Once in the cave, they found Sukari with a newborn son, whom Bahati was overjoyed to see. Sukari then thanked Simba for his rescue of her and her baby. Before long, Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, and Bahati left so Sukari and her son could rest.[1]

Physical appearance[]

Sukari is tall, large, and slender. She has a golden coat that is dotted with brown spots, a dark muzzle, a brown mane, and two ossicones.[1]

Personality and traits[]

Sukari is a kind and caring mother. She is quite resourceful and quick to act, as seen when she saved Simba from falling into a river.[1]
