Stripey is a male zebra. He is a member of a herd of zebras who live within or close by the jungle.
Stripey met Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa when they were searching for a new home and invited them to stay with his herd for a while. The trio took Stripey up on his offer and spent several days living alongside the zebras. One day, Lightfoot and his coalition attacked Stripey's herd and isolated Stripey from the others. However, Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa defeated the cheetahs and thus saved Stripey's life.

Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa were searching for a new home when Stripey offered them a place in his herd. He declared that it would be fun to live with them since they were all so funny. Taking Stripey up on his offer, the three friends briefly joined the herd, during which they woke up at dawn every day to traipse the zebras' territory with Stripey and the rest of the herd. Stripey even introduced his friends to some giraffes.
One day, Stripey was targeted by several hungry cheetahs. As the predators closed in on the herd, Stripey's mother was forced to lead the herd away from danger and called for Stripey to follow her. However, in the panic, Stripey got left behind. With the help of Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa, Stripey was saved from the cheetahs.[1]
