Stinky is a male stinkbug.
Stinky was kicked out of his band due to his malodorous smell. Afterward, he got frozen in an icicle, which Pumbaa found and brought to his cabin in the Rocky Mountains. Once the icicle melted, Stinky revealed his tragic backstory to Pumbaa, and the warthog decided not to eat him out of sympathy for his plight. Stinky ended up reuniting with his ex-bandmates and rejoined the band, only to get kicked out once again for the same reason as before. As a result, he let Timon and Pumbaa eat his ex-bandmates.

Stinky was a drummer in a band with three other bugs, but he was kicked out due to his smell. Thenceforth, he was an outcast. At some point, he got frozen in an icicle in the Rocky Mountains.[1]
Reunion with his band[]

During their trip to the Rocky Mountains, Timon and Pumbaa left their cabin in search of food. While hunting, Pumbaa found Stinky frozen in an icicle and brought him back to the cabin, where he melted the icicle by placing it next to a fire. Upon realizing that Timon was not around to eat a portion of the snack, Pumbaa decided to eat Stinky himself.
Just then, Stinky sneezed and told Pumbaa to eat him. The stinkbug proceeded to share his sad story with Pumbaa, which made the warthog empathize with him and decide not to eat him after all. When Pumbaa fetched more wood for the fire so he could keep Stinky warm, Stinky's ex-bandmates found him and apologized for how they had treated him. He was quick to forgive his old friends and decided to rejoin the band.

When Timon showed up, hungry, a spider gave him the rest of the bug that he was eating. Timon ate the bug, and Pumbaa returned shortly afterward, only to find that Stinky was missing. He asked Timon if he had seen his new bug friend, and Timon, believing that he had eaten the bug, told Pumbaa that he had not seen him. However, he let out a loud belch, and Pumbaa told him that the bug was a stinkbug, which caused him to faint. He then had a nightmare in which he was found guilty for having lied to Pumbaa and, as a result, got executed.
When Timon woke up, he lied to Pumbaa that a grizzly bear had broken into the cabin and kidnapped Stinky. Panicked, Pumbaa suggested that they rescue the bug. After Timon pretended to defeat the "bear," he and Pumbaa ran into a real grizzly bear, from which they managed to escape until they ran into three other grizzly bears.

Meanwhile, Stinky got kicked out of his band once again. He soon spotted Timon and Pumbaa in danger and tried to think of a way to rescue the duo. While doing so, he let out a sneeze that caused him to roll down the snow and create a giant snowball, which made the three bears run away in fear. Pumbaa found Stinky and thanked him for having saved his and Timon's lives. Realizing that he had not eaten Stinky, Timon apologized to Pumbaa for having lied to him, and Pumbaa forgave his friend.
When Timon, Pumbaa, and Stinky returned to the cabin, Stinky introduced his ex-bandmates to Timon and Pumbaa, and let the two feast on them since they were hungry.[1]

Stinky is a small stinkbug with purple skin. He has black hair, red-tipped antennae, and black eyes with yellow sclerae.[1]
Personality and traits[]
Stinky is friendly and kind-hearted. He and Pumbaa bonded over the fact that they both suffered from a malodorous smell that drove away their friends. Although his bandmates were cruel to him, Stinky easily forgave them and was willing to rejoin their band. However, after his bandmates kicked him out of the band once again, he lost his respect for them and let Timon and Pumbaa eat them.[1]
