Use

In the soundtracks

"Stampede" was released digitally on July 11, 2019, and will be released physically on July 19, 2019, as part of the soundtrack of The Lion King. It is one of nine scores from the release, in addition to "Rafiki's Fireflies", "Life's Not Fair", "Elephant Graveyard", "Scar Takes the Throne", "Simba Is Alive!", "Reflections of Mufasa", "Battle for Pride Rock", and "Remember".

In the film

"Stampede" represents the stampede scene, in which Scar baits Mufasa into rescuing his son, Simba. After Mufasa falls to his death, the score changes tone, becoming more somber and sorrowful as Simba discovers his father's body. It ends as the hyenas chase Simba from the Pride Lands.
