Don't worry, Timon! I'll save you! I'll outsmart those hyenas!
Pumbaa[src]

Smart-Hog! is an American comic inspired by The Lion King 1½. It was published in February 2004 as part of that month's issue of Disney Adventures.

Synopsis[]

While traipsing the jungle for grubs, Timon accidentally steps on Shenzi's tail, alerting her and her companions, Banzai and Ed, to his presence. Pumbaa attempts to save Timon but is quickly dispatched by Ed.

Pumbaa decides to outwit the hyenas, despite Timon's doubts. He questions the hyenas as to how they plan to eat such a small morsel between the three of them. This prompts a fight between the trio, until Banzai declares that a warthog is a much better-sized meal. Thinking fast, Pumbaa steps on the edge of a log, bringing up the other end to strike and knock out the hyenas.

After the defeat, Pumbaa declares that hyenas are dumb enough for him to outsmart, to which Timon replies that he is hungry.
