Flight to a circus[]

BTB Simon & father4

Simon reunites with his father.

While on a plane that was on its way to a circus, Simon's father took a nap. At the same time, his son practiced his circus performance. However, when the act failed, Simon lamented that he was bad at the circus business, but his father assured him that the center ring spotlight would be on him someday. As Simon's father resumed his nap, he did not notice his son falling out of the plane due to the clown pilots practicing some stunt flying.

When Simon escaped the Serengeti, he returned to the plane and reunited with his father, who told him to go back to sleep and reminded him that the spotlight would be on him someday.[1]

Physical appearance[]

Simon's father is a large and heavyset monkey. He has charcoal-gray fur, with a tan chest, tan ears, and a tan face. His eyes are black. He wears a green and purple tie and a green fez.[1]

Personality and traits[]

Simon's father is kind and supportive. Whenever his son messes up, he gives the youngster hope about his future and encourages him to do better. He is somewhat oblivious, as he did not notice when Simon fell out of their plane.[1]
