After leaving their daughter, Kiara, in the care of Timon and Pumbaa, Simba joined her, and she gave birth to their son. Together, they returned to the Pride Lands proper, where they introduced the newborn to Kiara. She greeted her brother and vowed to take care of him forever. She then told him the story of their grandfather, Mufasa.[1]
