Shupavu's group is a group of skinks led by Shupavu. They are members of Scar's army.
History[]
The Lion Guard[]
"The Lion Guard: The Rise of Scar"[]
Shupavu and her ally, Njano, watch as the Lion Guard leads Makuu's float into their sleeping cave.
Nyeusi leads Ushari to the Lair of the Lion Guard
Later, when Ushari resolves to awaken Scar's spirit, he employs the help of Shupavu and her allies. Shupavu questions what Ushari wants, and Ushari explains that one of the skinks must tail Rafiki and Makini to see where they are going. Shupavu asks how her group will benefit, and Ushari hints that it may tip the Pride Lands in their favor. Convinced, Shupavu sends her stealthiest skink, Nyeusi.
Nyeusi figures out where Rafiki and Makini have gone. He then leads Shupavu and Ushari to the Lair of the Lion Guard. Ushari thanks the skinks for their help, and Shupavu leaves, expressing disgust at being so close to Pride Rock.
Later, Nyeusi spies on Kiara and Makini from atop a tree.
"Let Sleeping Crocs Lie"[]
Shupavu and her ally, Njano, witness the Lion Guard awakening Makuu's float from hibernation. They report this to Scar, who tells them to keep him informed. Later, Shupavu warns Scar of the mashindano between Makuu and Kiburi.
"Swept Away"[]
The skinks lead Beshte into a trap
When Beshte gets lost in the Outlands, Shupavu and her allies watch his progress. They eventually approach him and offer to help him find shade. Beshte accepts gladly, trusting them. While the skinks lead Beshte to shade, Njano informs Scar and Ushari of the situation. Afterward, he returns to his allies and leads Beshte through an underpass, promising Shupavu that he has a plan. When Beshte reaches a dead-end, he is attacked by Janja's clan, while the skinks slither away.
"The Bite of Kenge"[]
The group appears during the "Big Bad Kenge" musical sequence.
"The Little Guy"[]
Shupavu and Njano recruit Hodari
Shupavu and her ally, Njano, overhear that Hodari the gecko wants to join a crocodile float. When Makuu turns Hodari down, the skinks approach him and tell him that Kiburi will gladly accept his services. Njano runs ahead to inform Kiburi of the situation.
At first, Kiburi is surprised that Hodari is a gecko but allows him to join the float after he "beats" Tamka in a spar. The skinks watch as the float depart for the Pride Lands.
"The Scorpion's Sting"[]
The skinks join Scar's army in attacking the Lion Guard. However, Kion defeats them with the Roar of the Elders.
"Undercover Kinyonga"[]
In the volcano, Shupavu's group gathers with Janja and Ushari. The allies listen to Scar's plan. However, after the plan is confirmed, Shupavu notices Kinyonga skulking nearby and informs Scar. Ushari commands the skinks to stop the intruder, and they chase Kinyonga until they corner her at a dead-end. Suddenly, the Lion Guard appears, having snuck up on the skinks by camouflaging themselves. The skinks retreat.
"The Hyena Resistance"[]
Shupavu overhears that the Lion Guard is allying with Jasiri's clan. She informs Scar, who levels rage at Janja for not having killed Jasiri and orders his army to attack the hyenas. Later, when Janja shows a slight willingness to join Jasiri, Shupavu and Njano decide to report it to Scar.
"The Underground Adventure"[]
Shupavu and her ally, Njano, witness Kion and his friends playing in the mud pots. They report this to Scar, who sends vultures to set fire to the area.
"Pride Landers Unite!"[]
The skinks witness Makuu's failed attempts to teach the Pride Landers how to fight. Scar then orders his army to attack Makuu's watering hole.
"The Queen's Visit"[]
Shupavu's group informs Scar that Dhahabu has agreed to share her watering hole with the Pride Landers. He tells them to fetch Reirei's pack to kill Dhahabu.
"The Fall of Mizimu Grove"[]
Shupavu's group informs Scar of Makini's mpando mpaya ceremony.
"Battle for the Pride Lands"[]
Shupavu brings Janja's clan to the Lair of the Lion Guard, where Scar deliberately traps them inside with fire. Later, she and Ushari listen to Scar's story about how he acquired his scar.
During the final battle, the Lion Guard enters the volcano. The skinks attempt to thwart them but are easily defeated.
