Sarabi to Simba and Nala[src]

Roam Alone is an American comic inspired by The Lion King. It was published by Acclaim Books in 1997.

Synopsis[]

One day, Simba and his best friend, Nala, were playing around the Pride Lands. Upon seeing all the mischief that the cubs were getting into, Simba's mother Sarabi suggested they follow her to a new play place. Though the cubs were initially excited, they deflated once they realized that Sarabi had simply led them to an empty clearing.

After Sarabi had left, Simba and Nala decided to find a new play place. Together, they played around a nearby river, racing, tussling, and even getting chased by a swarm of bees. Later on, Simba suggested they climb a tall tree and make a den at the top. The cubs climbed the tree until they had reached a vantage point from which they could see the entire water hole.

At that moment, a giraffe ordered the cubs to stop stepping on its lunch, and so, they fled again. However, they ended up getting chased by various Pride Landers who were tired of their antics. At one point, they accidentally stepped on a snake's back and raced away in fear. At last, they returned to their original play place, where Sarabi told them that they would not get into trouble there. This relieved both cubs.
