—Rina and Rada about Simba and Nala

Rina and Rada are two spinster ratels who were scripted to appear in King of the Jungle.

Information

King of the Jungle (January 1990)

Rina and Rada are first seen watching Simba and Nala play, cooing over how cute the cubs are and how proud Mufasa must be of them. Upon seeing the ratels, Nala bristles and jumps away, prompting Simba to dash after her. Once away from Rina and Rada, Nala berates Simba for talking to them, reminding him that they must be "ferocious and fearsome."

Physical appearance

They are portly, badger-like creatures, coal-black on the bottom, snow-white on top.
