Rasha is a female rhinoceros. She is the mate of Kuloo.
While Zazu was arranging mates for the animals of the Pride Lands, he ran into a distressed and lonely Rasha. He tried to comfort her, but this made her believe that he was romantically interested in her. Despite Zazu's attempts to turn her down, Rasha chased him across the Pride Lands and tried to become mates with him. Eventually, Zazu set her up with a male rhinoceros named Kuloo instead.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Rasha lived in the Pride Lands. Despite her best efforts, she could not find a mate.[1]
Pursuit of a mate[]
When Zazu was arranging mates for every animal in the Pride Lands, Rasha wept about how lonely she was. Seeing her in distress, Zazu tried to comfort her, but Rasha mistook his kindness for an act of love. Delighted, she began to chase him across the Pride Lands and cooed lovingly at him in an effort to make him her mate.
In the midst of the chase, Zazu ran into a nervous young rhinoceros named Kuloo and arranged for him to hide behind a tree. When Rasha drew near, Zazu called for her, and she ran her horn through the tree, which caused her to collide with Kuloo. Upon seeing each other, the rhinoceroses immediately fell in love.[1]
Physical appearance[]
Rasha is a large rhinoceros with speckled gray skin. She has two white horns, pink inner ears, and blue eyes.[1]
Personality and traits[]
Rasha is desperate for attention and does not like to be left out. She can be somewhat pushy and overbearing, as she made many unwanted passes at Zazu immediately after meeting him. Later, however, her attention shifted to Kuloo.[1]
