Rainmakers is a Norwegian comic inspired by The Lion King. It was published on December 12, 2000.
Synopsis[]
Pumbaa admits to Timon that his burps cause rain. He surmises that his larger burps could cause a downpour and reflects on how he had told his story to his friend, Zachary the pelican. Timon dismisses the story as folly and laughs at Pumbaa for being so easily fooled.
Later, Pumbaa and Zachary wander into the desert, where they are cornered by Shenzi and Banzai. The hyenas taunt Pumbaa for pretending to have supernatural powers and ask him to prove it. However, when Pumbaa gets too scared, Timon comes out of hiding and distracts the hyenas.
Just then, Pumbaa burps, and a downpour starts. Lightning strikes the hyenas, chasing them off, and Timon stares in wonder at the weather. Meanwhile, Zachary comments that Pumbaa's burps are getting boring, and Pumbaa wonders what might happen if he sneezes.
