Plot[]
Simba takes his friend, Nala, to the Elephant Graveyard to explore, but they are surrounded by hyenas. Luckily, they are rescued by Mufasa, Simba's father. That night, Mufasa scolds Simba for disobeying his orders, and reminds him that he need only look to the Great Kings of the Past in the stars for guidance.
Meanwhile, Simba's uncle Scar continues to plot against his brother and nephew. With the help of his hyena followers, he causes a stampede and traps Simba in its midst. Mufasa quickly arrives in the Gorge to save his son, but he is pushed to his death by Scar in the process. After the stampede, Scar blames Simba for Mufasa's death.
