Rookery leader

Excuse me. Beauty before age. Last one in is a smaller, less attractive version of me!

Pinguino is a male penguin.

The Lion Guard

"Poa the Destroyer"

Pinguino is playing on his ice slide when Beshte inadvertently tracks snow all over it, ruining it. This causes Pinguino and his rookery mates to tumble down the slide. Pinguino believes the action to have been deliberate.

Later, Pinguino leaves to file an official complaint to the Night Pride. Along the way, he encounters other animals who have been terrorized by Beshte. Pinguino insists on doing the talking, as he remembers what Beshte had looked like and his catchphrase, "Poa!" Pinguino then nicknames him "Poa the Destroyer".

The animals take their complaints to Baliyo, who promises to inform Rani. However, Beshte returns to Pinguino's slide and ruins it once more. Pinguino complains again to Baliyo and Rani, using the name "Poa the Destroyer" for the monster, which makes them realize that the menace must be Beshte.

Poa saves

Beshte saves Pinguino's life

Later, in an attempt to reconcile Beshte and the residents of the Tree of Life, Baliyo and Bunga lead the animals to the Tree of Life. However, when Bunga reveals that Beshte will be at the meeting, Pinguino refuses to go and returns home.

On the way, Pinguino runs into Beshte and flees up a dangerous icy ridge. Ignoring Beshte's warnings, Pinguino climbs higher and slips on the ice, falling from a dangerous height. Just in time, Beshte rescues him. The two travel to the Tree of Life, where Pinguino declares that Beshte had saved his life, effectively clearing Beshte's name. The animals start up a chant of "Poa," led by Pinguino.

"Long Live the Queen"

Pinguino waits outside the Tree of Life as Janna lies dying and reacts with sadness when her death is announced by Makini. Later, he attends her funeral at the Willows. He is also present at Rani's coronation.

"Return to the Pride Lands"

Pinguino attends Kion and Rani's wedding. He tells Thurston that Kion is as fierce as a penguin.

Personality and traits

Pinguino is egotistical and vain. He enjoys the spotlight and believes himself to know better than other animals.
