When Timon tried to convince his friends, Pumbaa and Simba, that a zebraffe existed, they doubted him. In order to prove himself, Timon set out on a journey with them and encountered Oorak. The okapi explained that he was not a zebraffe, but an okapi. Timon begged Oorak to stay so that Pumbaa and Simba could see him for themselves, but the okapi disappeared when Timon raced back to get his friends. Disappointed, the meerkat admitted defeat, and the three friends returned home.[1]
