And the aardvarks!
Muhangus, as his armory opts to remain in the Pride Lands[src]

Muhangus's armory is a group of aardvarks led by Muhangus. They reside in the Pride Lands.

History[]

Muhangus and Muhanga's wedding[]

Reside over aardvark wedding rites...
Zazu to Simba on Muhangus and Muhanga's wedding[src]

One day, King Simba presided over the wedding of Muhangus and Muhanga.[1]

Kupatana[]

You and your family have to stay away from the aardvarks' dens...and food. Got it?
Kion to Reirei[src]

On the day of Kupatana, Reirei and her family used Muhangus and Muhanga's dens without permission and ate some of their food. Furious, the aardvarks confronted them. The Lion Guard quickly intervened, advocating for Muhangus and Muhanga, and forbidding the jackals from using their dens or eating their food again. Despite Reirei's assurances that her family would behave, they ended up stealing more food from the Pride Landers, including the aardvarks.[2]

Misunderstanding with the aardwolves[]

Our den! It's full of...hyenas!
―Muhangus[src]

One night, Muhangus and Muhanga saw a pack of aardwolves scrounging through their den and mistook them for hyenas. They appealed to the Lion Guard for help, and they, in turn, exiled the aardwolves using Kion's Roar of the Elders.[3]

New water source[]

Water, water, water!
―Pride Landers, as Ma Tembo searches for a new water source[src]

At the onset of the dry season, Muhangus's armory took to following Ma Tembo as she searched for a new water source in the Pride Lands. Eventually, she unearthed a new water hole, and the aardvarks partook in drinking from it alongside their fellow Pride Landers.[4]

Scar's threat[]

How is that even possible?
―Muhangus on Scar's return[src]

Muhangus's armory attended Makini's mpando mpaya at Mizimu Grove. In the middle of the ceremony, the Army of Scar attacked, and the Pride Landers worked with the Lion Guard to fend them off. Suddenly, the spirit of Scar manifested in a nearby fire and threatened to overtake the Pride Lands. Terrified, the Pride Landers fled Mizimu Grove.

The aardvarks decide to remain in the Pride Lands.

The aardvarks decide to remain in the Pride Lands.

Once the Pride Landers had calmed down, Simba admitted that he had had knowledge of Scar's return for some time but had withheld from sharing it out of fear that his subjects would want to leave the Pride Lands. The Pride Landers expressed their hesitancy to remain in the kingdom, and Simba told them to inform him of their final decisions in the morning.

Come morning, the Pride Landers gathered at Pride Rock to share their decisions with Simba, only for Kion to interrupt and implore them to follow him to Mizimu Grove first. They did so, and he revealed that Makini's baobab seedling had survived Scar's fire. This inspired the Pride Landers, including the aardvarks, to remain in the Pride Lands.[5]
