After [[Simba]] pounced on [[Zazu]], the [[Hornbills|hornbill]] lay, winded, on the ground. Suddenly, the mole emerged from beneath him and informed him that there was news from the underground. The mole then reported to Zazu that [[hyenas]] were in the Pride Lands, and Zazu in turn informed [[Mufasa]] of the situation.<ref name="TLK" />

==Physical appearance==
The mole is moderately sized. He has brown fur, with a pale underbelly, grayish-brown paws, and narrow black eyes.<ref name="TLK" />
