  • Happy fathers day to Mufasa and Simba

  • I must warn you beware of User:JPstar and his different accounts and his 2051, he's been causing a lot of trouble in other wikis by adding animals that don't really appear

  • Which page would be suited for this wiki? Rabbits or Hares?

  • Hello. It's been a while. I just finished rewatching TLK 1 1/2, and it got me thinking about one error included in the error/mistake page. If I didn't remember it wrong, it's written that Timon not recognizing Rafiki in TLK is a mistake, right? I'm thinking that maybe that's not the case.

In TLK 1 1/2, Timon was shown to have met Rafiki prior meeting Simba and all. But Rafiki never actually explained himself who he really is. He just suddenly appeared before Timon and told him about Hakuna Matata. Rafiki never explained who he is, where he came from, etc. Simply put, Timon only knew Rafiki as a random wise monkey who gave him advice and no more than that. So, when Timon and Rafiki met again in TLK and asked Nala who is the monkey, I think it doesn't mean he completely didn't recognize Rafiki, he meant to ask who actually Rafiki is other than the mandrill who gave him advice.

    What do you think?

    • Hey, Frost! We actually voted as a community to get rid of the mistakes articles. However, I think you make a good point. It feels a little iffy to me, but if you interpret it that way, it doesn’t necessarily break canon.

    • Wait, you deleted it already? Really? I must've missed it since I've been absent for quite a while.

    • Yes, this happened a month or so ago. Here is the forum, if you’re interested.

  • Just a quick question: why are we keeping the characters in the 1994 lion king in separate articles from the 2019 film, even though their roles are largely the same in both movies?

    • Our community voted to keep the pages separate a year or so ago. It makes it easier to have separate quote pages and galleries. Plus, if there is ever a sequel or spin-off series, the information will differ more. Here is the thread, if you’re interested.

    • Plus, there are major differences and changes of personalities for some characters, particularly Scar and Shenzi who are very different from their original incarnations. It's better to write them in separate articles rather than cramping them together into one. It'll make it easier to read and understand the differences between the adaptations.

  • Hello again!

I was curious to know if there was a Lion King discord server. If so I would like to join it. If not, I am willing to create one, and manage it.

    Thank you!

  • Wow! I didn't know you could give a wiki a custom cursor.

I'm in love with this one

Just so you're aware, I'm done trying to prove my point. Prefer whoever you want, it doesn't concern me. I need to get active on other wikis. Bye-bye.

I wasn't talking to you I was talking to Frost190 and Honeyfur

  • There are times that I already gave some space to the paragraphs that I wrote, but somehow, when I finished my editing, all the paragraphs are merged into one without any spaces. Do you know how I can fix this?

      Loading editor
    • Are you clicking “Add topic”? Because this creates a header rather than adding on to an existing paragraph.

        Loading editor
    • Nope. I edit it directly on topic discussion that's already there, not adding a new topic. And never mind, I just learned I can fix it by editing it in Source Mode instead of Visual Mode.

    • Gotcha. Glad you figured it out!

  • Hey Honeyfur, this is AdmiralZod1, I don't want you to take this the wrong way or anything and I don't want it to sound like I am starting an argument or anything. But I think the Mark of Evil isn't really based on how you get the scar but just that you have it. That is why I think Kovu has the Mark of evil even though he did not get it same way as Kion and Scar. That also goes more in line with him being Scar's heir too

    • That should be good. You could always include more details to strengthen your argument, but that's up to you.
