Shifty (also known as Little Jimmy) is a male bluebird.
Little Jimmy asked Timon and Pumbaa to build him a new home. Pumbaa readily agreed, but Timon observed Little Jimmy's true malicious nature and so tried to convince Pumbaa of the truth. Eventually, the police showed up to arrest Little Jimmy, and Pumbaa realized that Timon had been right. Together, the duo turned Little Jimmy in.
Later, Little Jimmy was thrown into a jail cell with Smolder. Timon and Pumbaa were put into the same cell, which prompted Little Jimmy to use Smolder against them as an act of revenge. After suffering abuse at the hands of Little Jimmy and Smolder, Timon and Pumbaa informed Smolder that he was being used, and Smolder promptly turned on Little Jimmy.
Biography[]
Tricking Pumbaa[]
When Timon climbed up a tree to catch a bug that had hidden under a nest, the branch broke, causing Timon and the nest to fall. Little Jimmy landed on Pumbaa's nose. When he introduced himself to the duo, he told Pumbaa that he had lost his home. Pumbaa was willing to help him build a new house, while Timon was reluctant, as it would be too much work. When Pumbaa left Little Jimmy alone with Timon to get some materials for the house, the bluebird threatened the meerkat, telling him that he would murder him if he did not build a house or if he informed Pumbaa about his true nature.
Little Jimmy tells Pumbaa that he lost his home.
When Pumbaa returned with the tools, Timon started to tell him what had just happened, but Little Jimmy interrupted. While Pumbaa read the manual, Timon swiftly built a birdhouse. Pumbaa was happy that their teamwork had been successful, but Little Jimmy was unsatisfied with the birdhouse and asked for more work to be done.
When Timon and Pumbaa finished rebuilding the birdhouse, Little Jimmy asked for a security system, an electric fence, and a moat. After Timon and Pumbaa built what Little Jimmy had asked for, Timon tried to convince Pumbaa that Little Jimmy was dangerous, but the warthog did not believe him, as he thought the bluebird was too cute. Just then, a group of pigeon police showed up and tried to arrest Little Jimmy. This made Pumbaa realize that Timon had been right.
Little Jimmy threatens to kill Timon if the police do not let go of their guns.
Pumbaa helped out by showing the police a secret entrance he and Timon had built to surprise Little Jimmy. When Pumbaa got on the roof, he used his gas weapon to distract Little Jimmy so that the police could capture him. However, the police were also distracted by the smell, which left it up to Pumbaa to catch the bluebird. Little Jimmy asked Pumbaa to let him go by using his fake cute nature. Pumbaa nearly did as the bluebird had asked, until Timon reminded him of what had just happened. This made the warthog change his mind. Timon and Pumbaa then turned Little Jimmy in.
After Little Jimmy got arrested, Pumbaa apologized to Timon for not believing him. Timon accepted his friend's apology and stated that from that day forward, they would never use any tool. However, when the police announced that Little Jimmy had escaped, Timon built a hideout for himself and Pumbaa so they could hide from Little Jimmy.[1]
Time in jail[]
Timon and Pumbaa were enjoying their summer, eating June Bugs. Suddenly, a policeman showed up and arrested the duo for eating June Bugs in July. When Timon asked the officer when eating June Bugs in July had become illegal, the policeman told him that it was Little Jimmy who had convinced him to change the law.
Little Jimmy convinces Smolder that Timon and Pumbaa want to hurt him.
When Timon and Pumbaa found Little Jimmy, Pumbaa believed that it had been a coincidence. However, Timon corrected his friend by telling him that the bluebird had framed them. After reminding Pumbaa about the last time they had seen Little Jimmy, Timon feared what the bluebird might do to them, but Pumbaa stated that since he was only a bird in a cage, he could not do anything painful to them. As Timon and Pumbaa prepared to get tough on Little Jimmy, they realized that he was cellmates with Smolder. When Little Jimmy convinced Smolder that Timon and Pumbaa were about to hurt him, the bear stated that if they did so, he was going to hurt them. This made Timon and Pumbaa try to figure out a way to get out of jail.
While Timon and Pumbaa were doing aerobics, Pumbaa told his friend that life in prison was not so bad. This changed when they had to work on a rock pile with Smolder and Little Jimmy. Little Jimmy gave Timon an axe and made Smolder believe that Timon had hit him with it. As the bear prepared to hurt the two, Timon and Pumbaa fled from them.
Little Jimmy tells Smolder that he has been taking advantage of him.
While Timon and Pumbaa tried to find a way to get out of jail, Smolder and Little Jimmy talked about the painful things Smolder would do to the duo. Little Jimmy soon revealed that he was using Smolder to get revenge on Timon and Pumbaa for having turned him in. When Timon and Pumbaa attempted to make a quick escape, they ran into Smolder and Little Jimmy, who prepared to hurt the two. Just then, Smolder and Little Jimmy received pardons. As they left the cell, Little Jimmy revealed to Smolder that he had been taking advantage of him, which caused them to start a fight.
Timon and Pumbaa realized that with Smolder and Little Jimmy gone, they were fine in their cell. However, Smolder and Little Jimmy got sent back to the cell for fighting. When they agreed that it had been Timon and Pumbaa's fault, the two friends escaped by running into the wall, which made Timon question why they had not thought of that before.[2]

Little Jimmy is a small bluebird. He has bright blue feathers, with a pale underbelly and large dark blue eyes.[1]

Little Jimmy pretends to be cute but is actually dangerous. He has two different personas with matching voices: his sweet, innocent voice that helps him pass as a hatchling and his gruff criminal mastermind voice that proves his true maturity. He likes to take advantage of people and will hurt those who do not give him what he wants.[1]
