Pumbaa

I am no ordinary whale, matey. An enchanted three-wish wishing whale, am I. In exchange for your kind act, I will grant you three wishes!
―Lester meets Pumbaa[src]

Lester is a female human. She used to be an enchanted, three-wish wishing whale until Pumbaa freed her from the curse.

After Pumbaa saved Lester's life, the whale offered to grant him three wishes. Pumbaa used Timon's ideas for his wishes, but Lester frequently granted the wishes in an unconventional way. This made Timon and Pumbaa make their wishes with more specificity. After Pumbaa's final wish was made, Lester's curse was lifted, and he was transformed back into a human princess.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Lester was originally a female human. However, she was cursed to become a male whale who granted people three wishes.[1]

Freed from the curse[]

It is done!
―Lester, after he grants a wish[src]

While Pumbaa was walking on the beach, he found Lester beached. The warthog was about to go to Timon for some suggestions on how they could save Lester's life, but the whale stopped him and told him that there was not enough time. Pumbaa then decided to save Lester on his own.

Lester grants Pumbaa's first wish.

After Pumbaa managed to throw Lester back into the ocean, Lester revealed himself to be enchanted and told the warthog that he granted three wishes. Pumbaa did not wish for anything, but Lester told him to return if he changed his mind. Pumbaa then went to Timon and told him about Lester. The meerkat was shocked that his friend had not wished for anything, so he made him return to Lester to wish for something "big and expensive."

After Pumbaa did what Timon had told him, he saw that Lester had granted Pumbaa a giant replica of the Statue of Liberty. Realizing that they needed to be more specific with their wishes, Timon ordered Pumbaa to return to Lester and ask him to make Timon a king.

After the curse is lifted, Lester kisses Pumbaa.

After Lester granted the second wish, Pumbaa saw a giant-sized Timon atop a replica of the Empire State Building. The meerkat ordered his friend to tell Lester that he wanted to be a regular-sized king in a stone castle with a ferocious, fire-breathing monster that he could defeat. Pumbaa agreed and returned to Lester, delivering Timon's wish to the magic whale. However, he screwed up the words "can" and "can't" while delivering the message.

After Lester granted the wish, he announced that the curse over him had been lifted. There was a great flash of light, and Lester transformed into a human princess. After thanking Pumbaa and giving him a kiss, the princess walked away.[1]

Physical appearance[]

In his cursed form, Lester was a massive whale with dark blue blubber. He had a pale blue chest, dark eye rims, several barnacles on his face, and black eyes. He wore a small white sailor's hat.

In her true form, Lester is a slender human female, with fair skin, long blond hair, and black eyes. She wears a pink and red dress.[1]

Personality and traits[]

Initially, Lester was enchanted and capable of granting wishes. He was happy to grant anyone three wishes in exchange for a kind act. He tended to misinterpret Timon and Pumbaa's wishes, which made them realize that they needed to be more specific with their wishes.[1]
