Kiboko is a male hippopotamus.
Initially, Kiboko was a troublemaker who hogged a water hole and caused a skirmish with Nzee and her herd. However, when Simba's son Kopa was kidnapped, Kiboko put aside his differences with the other Pride Landers and joined them in rescuing the cub from his kidnappers.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Kiboko lived in the Pride Lands.[1]
Saving Kopa[]
Kiboko refused to share a water hole with the other animals, which prompted a skirmish between him and the gazelles. He was not ashamed of this and specifically tried to antagonize Nzee, the herd's spokesperson and leader.
However, when Simba's son Kopa went missing, Kiboko momentarily halted the feud in order to help rescue the cub. He joined Simba and a large group of Pride Landers to travel across the desert to where a flock of vultures was holding the cub captive. Along with the other Pride Landers, he intimidated the vultures into releasing Kopa.[1]
Physical appearance[]
Kiboko is a large hippopotamus. He has gray skin, with sparse hairs on his head and brown eyes.[1]
Personality and traits[]
Kiboko goes out of his way to annoy his fellow Pride Landers. He is onerous, stubborn, and unwilling to admit when he is wrong. However, he will set aside his own selfish intentions in dire situations, such as when he helped find Simba's lost son, Kopa.[1]
