Khalfani was a male mandrill. He was the leader of a troop of mandrills in Grass Walls.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Khalfani lived in Grass Walls. At some point in his life, he became the leader of a troop of mandrills. Before Rafiki became a traveler, he lived under Khalfani's leadership. However, after Rafiki's departure, Khalfani was killed by a leopard, and Jelani took over as the ruler of Grass Walls.[1]
Legacy[]
When Rafiki journeyed to his homeland of Grass Walls and found it in ruins, he learned from Dalila that Khalfani had been killed by a leopard some time ago. Rafiki commented on how wise a leader Khalfani had been, and Dalila softly agreed with him.[1]
