Kari Wahlgren is an American actress. She voices Boboka's son, Chura, the young rhino, and Muhimu in The Lion Guard.

Biography

As a young child, Wahlgren was inspired by Disney princesses and other voices in animation.[1] On her eleventh birthday, Wahlgren and her family were given a tour of the building for Focus on the Family, where she was asked to do a bit role in their radio drama Adventures in Odyssey, as an eleven-year-old character named Gloria McCoy.[2]

In 1999, Wahlgren graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from the University of Kansas. Wahlgren initially did radio spots in Kansas City, Missouri, but in 2000, she moved to Los Angeles to work on her acting career. She eventually shifted her focus to voice acting.
