Henry Gilroy is an American author, producer, and screenwriter. He is a writer and story editor of several episodes of The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa.

Early life[]
Gilroy loved comic books and animation from his early years. He studied film at several colleges in the greater Los Angeles area.
Career[]
Gilroy's first job was working as an editor for Warner Bros.' animation department. Working at the Skywalker and Big Rock Ranch facilities with George Lucas, he co-wrote the theatrical animated feature film Star Wars: The Clone Wars as well as its follow-up television series. His other notable animation projects include Star Wars Rebels, the first Bionicle trilogy, Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League, G.I. Joe: Renegades, and several Disney shows.
In 2019, Gilroy was selected as the showrunner for the animated series Magic: The Gathering. [1]
