(The episode begins in the middle of the ocean, where a barrel floats into frame. Timon springs out of the barrel in a cowboy outfit.)
Timon
Yee-howdy! Hello, Nashville!
(Pumbaa pops out of the barrel below Timon, wearing a cowboy hat.)
Pumbaa
Yee-haw! (then) Hey?! (scratches his head) This doesn't look like the country music capital of the world. This looks like we're adrift at sea and doomed to a horrible fate. And...we're sinking.
(Timon and Pumbaa fall into the ocean. They resurfaced as Pumbaa begins paddling on his back, with Timon standing on his cowboy hat.)
Timon
(spots something, pointing) Ahoy!
(A dinghy floats into frame nearby. Timon and Pumbaa jump aboard.)
Timon
We're saved!
Pumbaa
Hallelujah!
(A meteor from the sky hits the sails, burning the dinghy down until a ship sound is heard. Cut to a cruise boat at sea. Pumbaa runs in circles around the raft before the two jump off their dinghy and onto the nearby cruise ship. They land in recliner chairs.)
Timon
We're saved!
Pumbaa
Hallelujah!
(Timon and Pumbaa notice a sign on the life buoy that reads "Titanic." The boat hits an iceberg and sinks. Pumbaa begins paddling through the water on the life buoy, with Timon riding on his back, pointing the way. They approach another ship and climb aboard.)
Timon
We're saved!
Pumbaa
(in a deep voice) Hallelujah!
(Timon and Pumbaa appraise the deck of the ship.)
Pumbaa
Well, looks like there's nothing wrong with this boat.
Timon
Yeah. (knocking on the ship's hull) Knock on wood. (Timon hops onto the railing and walks off. Pumbaa follows.) Come on. Let's find the crew of this boat that nothing's wrong with.
(The camera pans up to the mast, revealing a pirate flag at the top. Three pirates appear from the hatched door on deck.)
Pirate 1
Argh! (The pirate walks onto the ship's deck.) Boatswain fate, I thought I heard a knockin'.
(The second pirate follows the first.)
Pirate 2
(in a Jamaican accent) Ah, mun. I agree boatswain doom. I thought I heard a knockin' too.
(The third pirate follows the others.)
Pirate 3
(slobbering) Argh! Likewise, indeed-o, says I, boatswain slob.
