Biography[]
Union enrolled in the University of Nebraska but later transferred to Cuesta College. She eventually earned a sociology degree from UCLA. During her senior year at UCLA, she interned at the Judith Fontaine Modeling & Talent Agency, where she started a tentative career in acting.
Union sites her "biggest [acting] boost" as being Bring It On, in which she plays the cheerleader Isis.[1] It was this role that led to her being cast as Dr. Courtney Ellis in the CBS television drama City of Angels.
In recent times, Union has branched out to work on films and television series such as Being Mary Jane and Top Five.[2] She also voices Nala, the mother of main character Kion, in Disney's The Lion Guard.[3]
