Clockwork Quint

I'm so honored to be engaged to our town's timekeeper. I've cherished that big clock ever since I was a little girl. The cuckoo bird sang me to sleep every night, but I never dreamed I'd meet someone who loved that clock as much as I do.
―Frieda on Fronk Fegnugen[src]

Frieda is a female human.

When Clockwork Quint threatened to fire Fronk Fegnugen if he did not fix the town's clock by noon, he and Frieda frantically tried to make repairs. Fronk declared the clock irreparable, but Pumbaa proposed an idea. In order to fool Clockwork Quint, he and his friend Timon posed as mechanical animals and so fooled Clockwork Quint into believing that the clock was functional. Because of the trick, Fronk kept his job, and he and Frieda were married.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Frieda lived in Switzerland. Since she was young, she cherished the town clock, as the cuckoo bird put her to sleep every night. She never thought she would find someone who was just as fond of the clock as she was until she met Fronk, who became her boyfriend.[1]

Fronk's job[]

During Timon and Pumbaa's vacation to Switzerland, Timon talked Fronk into taking a break from his timekeeping business and living the "Hakuna Matata" life. However, the clock malfunctioned the moment Fronk left, and the clock inspector, Clockwork Quint, drove up to ensure that Fronk's clock was in excellent condition. Upon not finding Fronk, who had taken the job Clockwork Quint desired, Clockwork Quint issued an order that the clock must be working by noon or Fronk would lose his job. Timon told Pumbaa that they could fix it, but after a number fell from the clock's face, he suggested that they leave town.

The pals waited at the train station, then at a hot air balloon station, but no one returned to sell them tickets because they were relying on the clock's time. Timon finally realized that he and Pumbaa needed to tell Fronk about the predicament so that the master timekeeper could repair the clock; otherwise, not only would Fronk lose his job, but they would never be able to leave the Swiss town.

Timon and Pumbaa found Fronk skiing in the Alps with his new sweetheart Frieda, who also loved the clock. Frieda and Fronk had great dreams for their future together, but Timon and Pumbaa had to break the news to them that the clock was in need of repairs and that Fronk was in danger of losing his job to Clockwork Quint. The four quickly skied down the mountain, through a chapel so that Frieda and Fronk could wed, then into the clock tower. Fronk believed the clock was irreparable and blamed Timon for making him take a break, but Pumbaa had an idea.

Clockwork Quint returned and believed that he would be able to take Fronk's job. However, at the stroke of noon, Timon and Pumbaa performed the jobs of the mechanical animals that had previously been on the tower. Clockwork Quint was enraged by what he saw and angrily left, which meant Fronk could keep his job as a timekeeper, much to his, Timon, Pumbaa, and Frieda's happiness.[1]

Physical appearance[]

Frieda is a tall and slender young woman. She has fair skin, blond hair that she wears in braids, and blue eyes. She wears a pink parka, blue earrings, blue ribbons in her hair, and blue boots.[1]

Personality and traits[]

Frieda is a kind-hearted, generous, and loving young woman. She is just as fond of the clock as Fronk is. The two had great dreams about their future, as they wanted to wed at the clock and hoped that their descendants would grow up to be timekeepers.[1]
