Frank Welker is an American actor. He provided several vocal effects for the animals, especially the lions and hyenas, in The Lion King, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, The Lion King 1½, and the 2019 computer generated version of the first movie, in which he was uncredited in the latter three.
He also voices several characters in the franchise's cartoons, including Ned in The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa and animal vocal effects in The Lion Guard in which he was also uncredited. He provided additional voices in Adventures in Typing with Timon & Pumbaa.
