Florence Kasumba is a Ugandan actress. She voiced Shenzi in the 2019 remake of The Lion King.
Biography[]
Born in Uganda, Kasumba has appeared in a variety of Dutch, German, and English films and television series.[1] She is best known for her role as Ayo, a member of the all-female fighting squad Dora Milaje, who appears in Marvel's Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther.
Since Civil War, Kasumba has appeared as Senator Acantha in 2017's Wonder Woman and the Wicked Witch of the East in the NBC television series Emerald City.
