Flip Kobler is an actor and screenwriter. He, alongside Cindy Marcus, is the writer of The Lion King II: Simba's Pride.

Career[]
Before working as a writer, Kobler began his career as an actor. Since selling his first screenplay at Paramount Studios, he and Marcus have been writing together for more than 25 years. [1] The two penned The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World, Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame II.
Kobler and Marcus have also worked on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and the 2009 film version of Jack and the Beanstalk.
