Fish are a species of animal native to the Dragon Island, Hakuna Matata, and the Pride Lands.
Physical characteristics[]
Fish consist of many sub-species. Depending on type, they are distinguished by spots or stripes. Their skin colors may also vary.
Sociocultural characteristics[]
Fish live underwater. The ones that live in Big Springs are known for licking other animals clean unless the animal has an unpleasant odor, such as Bunga. Fish are known to be preyed upon by crocodiles.

Fish clean the dirt off Beshte at Big Springs
In Big Springs, Beshte shows his friends how the fish clean the dirt off the hippopotamuses. Later, Pua arrives to ask Basi if the fish population is high enough for the crocodiles to hunt; however, Basi tells him to wait until next week. Pua relents, but Makuu disagrees with his decision and so challenges him to a mashindano. Makuu wins and invades Big Springs to hunt its fish, which disrupts the Circle of Life. Eventually, Kion manages to convince Makuu to take his float elsewhere.
