Simba's Hide and Seek is a read-along book inspired by The Lion King.[1] It was published by Disney Press on April 4, 1995.

Publisher's summary[]

"Simba and Nala play a game of hide and seek, and Simba explores the far reaches of his kingdom searching for Nala."[2]

Plot[]

In the Pride Lands, Simba and Nala are playing hide-and-seek. Nala goes to hide first, while Simba closes his eyes and begins to count. After a few seconds, Simba goes to look for his friend. He encounters a young zebra, a group of monkeys, a sleepy crocodile, a pair of hippos, a bathing elephant, a giraffe, and an ostrich, but none of them have seen Nala.

Finally, Simba spots a tail sticking out from a nearby bush, and discovers it to be Nala. His friend declares Simba to be the winner, and the two cubs wrestle playfully.
