You harm one hair on her head...and Simba will have our heads.
Timon to a vulture on Kiara[src]

Birds of a Feather is an American comic inspired by The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. It was published in November 1998 as part of that month's issue of Disney Adventures.

Synopsis[]

Timon attempts to teach Kiara how to survive in the wild, but she becomes distracted by a vulture, whom she begs to chase her. Despite Timon's warnings, Kiara brushes him off. The vulture then attacks Timon, and its mother sweeps Kiara away in her talons, carrying her to a high nest.

Timon and Pumbaa launch a rescue mission, in which Timon warns the mother vulture to let Kiara go or the situation will end badly for her. The vulture refuses, and Pumbaa releases a cloud of gas into her face, blowing off all her feathers.

The three escape to safety, where Kiara asks to be taught Pumbaa's trick. A disturbed Timon wonders how he will explain this to Kiara's father, Simba.
