Use[]
In the soundtracks[]
"Elephant Graveyard" was initially released under the same title for the complete film score. However, the album was retracted after one day. On June 24, 2014, the track was remixed and released as part of The Legacy Collection: The Lion King.
In the film[]
"Elephant Graveyard", as its name suggests, can be heard during the scene in which Simba and Nala visit the Elephant Graveyard. The score picks up when Simba and Nala are frightened by a geyser to after Mufasa rescues them and Scar watches the party leave.
Behind the scenes[]
- The primary chase music played during the score is repeated in a later score, "Mufasa Dies".
- In a story reel for The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, "Elephant Graveyard" serves as background music for Kovu catching a bug.[1]
