Dr. Screwloose is a male human.
After Dr. Screwloose's rudeness angered his high school crush Tiffany Taft, he created a race of Timon clones called Mooks so that he could look more polite in comparison. However, he did not harvest enough of Timon's DNA and so used his Mooks to capture Timon and Pumbaa. Eventually, the duo escaped, and Dr. Screwloose left to have breakfast with Tiffany.

An adolescent Dr. Screwloose goes on his first date with Tiffany Taft.
In his teenage years, Dr. Screwloose met a girl named Tiffany Taft, whom he considered to be the cutest girl in his high school. When he and Tiffany went on their first date to a restaurant, Dr. Screwloose was rude to their waitress, as he confronted her for giving him a dirty fork. The waitress was saddened by Dr. Screwloose's rudeness, which led Tiffany to break up with him.
Years later, Dr. Screwloose became a mad scientist. When he was in Paris, France, he found Timon and Pumbaa sitting at a French café and witnessed Timon being rude to a waiter. He then pulled out a piece of Timon's DNA and created clones of the meerkat, which he called "Mooks."[1]
Creation of Mooks[]

When Timon and Pumbaa got thrown off a cruise ship due to Timon's rudeness, the two friends found a scary-looking tropical island. When they got to the island, they ran into the Mooks, who kidnapped the duo and brought them to Dr. Screwloose's laboratory.
Pumbaa recognized the scientist, remembering having seen him pull out a piece of Timon's hair in Paris. Dr. Screwloose explained that he had used Timon's hair to create an entire race of rude beings, which made Pumbaa wonder why he would do such a thing. Dr. Screwloose then explained the story of his disastrous date with Tiffany Taft and how he had wanted to make more rude beings so as to win back his ex-girlfriend.

Dr. Screwloose claimed that his experiment had not gone well, as he had not taken enough genetic material from Timon in Paris. Because of this, he planned on cloning the meerkat to create an entire race of Supermooks. Timon confronted the scientist, telling him that he would not let him use his genes to treat people rudely. The meerkat freed himself from his trap and tried to escape the lab, but Dr. Screwloose sent the Mooks after him. When Timon could not escape the Mooks, he convinced them that he was their father and that they should do what he told them to do.
When Timon made the Mooks free Pumbaa from his trap, the warthog was proud of his friend for being nice. It all went well until Timon called his clones "dumb mooks," which offended the Mooks. Timon and Pumbaa then escaped the lab, with Dr. Screwloose and the Mooks chasing them. When Timon and Pumbaa got on a lifeboat and left Mook Island, Screwloose decided to start being nice to people. He then ran off to have breakfast with Tiffany.[1]
Physical appearance[]
As an adolescent, Dr. Screwloose was tall and lanky, with fair skin and long, shoulder-length brown hair. He wore spectacles and a green collared shirt. As a young adult, Dr. Screwloose was larger and heavier, and wore his hair short and bushy. He also wore a white lab coat and reflective glasses. As a senior, Dr. Screwloose's hair is gray with a balding patch at the center.[1]

Like most mad scientists, Screwloose is evil and cruel. Over the years, he treated people in a very rude way, which led him to create an entire race of rude and obnoxious beings. When Timon and Pumbaa escaped Mook Island, the mad scientist decided to start being nicer to people.[1]
