Donald Glover is an American actor who voices adult Simba in the 2019 remake of The Lion King.
Biography[]
Glover was born at Edwards Air Force Base, California, and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. His father, Donald Sr., is a retired postal worker, while his mother, Beverly, is a retired daycare provider. He attended DeKalb School of the Arts, and graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in dramatic writing in 2006.[1]
Glover became a writer for the NBC series 30 Rock in 2006, after being invited to the position by Miner and Tina Fey.[2] Since then, he has starred in numerous films and television shows. He is known for his role as Troy Barnes in the NBC sitcom Community, and for his role as Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars film Solo: A Star Wars Story.[3]
