Dembe is a male dung beetle.
Biography
Collecting food
When a tuft of Simba's mane drifts across the savanna, it is eaten, digested, and expelled from a giraffe. Dembe rolls a ball of the dung across the desert. However, it rolls down an incline and breaks apart.

Later, Dembe attends the presentation of Simba's newborn cub.
